Stock 2015 VW TDI Sportwagen

The stock Jetta Sportwagen is low to the ground with limited ground clearance, low ingress/egress height and drags the front bumper on parking stops daily! This owner wanted to be able to put snow tires on and occasionally chains. The factory ride height did not allow for the installation of standard tire chains.  The rear tow hitch would also drag on the ground almost daily.

2015 VW TDI Sportwagen lifted about 2″ over stock height.  Considerably larger tires can be installed, ground clearance is better, overall handling isn’t changed, aligns to factory specs just fine.  This is the way they are usually fitted in Europe!

The owner is now able to run snow tires, install tire chains in an emergency.  The hitch no longer drags, the front bumper doesn’t scrape on parking stops and the car can be taken on gravel roads without constant fear of bashing in the oil pan.  Like it should be from the factory!
